Mag Deal! Calling all vegetarians!

When I ate vegetarian last year for a month, I had so many wonderful suggestions and recipes sent to me from my fellow bloggers, so I wanted to put this awesome deal out there if anyone is interested.  While I do still eat meat, I more than likely would choose a veg option over meat on a regular basis.  This magazine looked delish!

Go here - One Year Subscription to Vegetarian Times Only $4.99 (Regularly $47.88!)
Through 11:59PM EST tonight, you can snag a one year subscription to Vegetarian Times Magazine for only $4.99 with the promo code HIP2SAVE at checkout (and you can purchase up to 4 years at this low price!).
This offer is available to new subscribers, is valid for renewals, and can be sent as a gift. To send a gift subscription, add the magazine to your cart and begin the checkout process. During checkout step 2, you will be able to change the address for each one of your subscriptions if you wish, and you will also have the option of sending an E-Card to the recipient with a gift message. The E-Card is sent by e-mail once payment has been completed; the purchase price will not be shown.

Vegetarian Times Magazine is filled with mouth-watering recipes, tips on making old favorites healthier, and the latest nutritional information to help you live better with special features on health, diet, and fitness.

Restaurant.com code is back!

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!  We're back from Hutch, and will post eventually on our busy weekend, but until then...

The 80% off code is back for Restaurant.com.    The promo code is BONUS and will be valid until 4/30.  This is an awesome way to get a giftcard to your favorite restaurants or to a new one you've been wanting to try.  Your total can be as low as $2 for a $25 giftcard.

I bought a few and also noticed that the ones I purchased do not expire which is another huge perk since I tend to be a procrastinator.  Make sure you read the exclusions as some require a minimum purchase and some can't be used towards alcohol.

Enjoy!!

Dog Toy Steal

2 posts in 1 day... calm down.

Just came across this awesome little deal for your fur baby.  If you have a fur baby.  If not, maybe your kid (or you) like squeeky dog toys.

Right now on this website, you can get these cute little 8" dog toys.  Set of 3.  For $4.99 shipped straight to your door.
Free shipping code: arcticfs

I've ordered from The Paws before and their toys are durable and are delivered very quick, so I jumped on this!  This is a great deal considering one dog toy at the store runs around $5-7.  Here you get 3!

Just thought I'd share!  Your pup will heart you.  I'm hoping that the moose is in my selection... he's a cutie.

Restaurant.com

I love me some restaurant.com.  You can get a $25 gift certificate for $10.  Or a $50 gc for $20.  In some cases they will send out promo codes and you can get them much cheaper.  That's where I come in :)

Right now if you enter the promo code SPRING at checkout, you will get 70% off.  So you'll be getting a $25 gift cert. for only $3.  $50 gc for $6 and so on.

You can enter in any zip code and it will bring up the restaurants that participate in your area.  Here are my fav restaurants that are listed in the KC area.

Waldo Pizza
Willie's
Kennedy's
Maya's
Twin City Tavern

And some more upscale ones that would be for a special occassion and nice to have a gift cert:
The Majestic
Peppercorn Duck Club
Pierpont's
The Skies
Melting Pot

Also a ton more that I'd like to try...  check it out here!

Make sure to read the restrictions for each.  Some you have to have a minimum purchase, some are good with booze, some not (I'm not a fan of these), and some are only valid Sun-Thurs.  All of them either expire in one year from purchase or do not expire at all.

St. Paddy's Day Deal!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!! This might be my favorite holiday of all time.  Except for the fact that I don't get the day off of work. In fact, I'm not sure anyone here knows it's St. Patrick's day... I'm the only one wearing any green.

Plus, Green beer?  Genious.  I'm already thirsty...

Here's a deal to make your day even better:

Get a FREE  Picaboo Hardcover Book - just pay $8.99 for shipping.

I love these photo book deals!!  It's only availble to new customers, but I'm assuming most of you would be new.  These books have great reviews!

Here's how you do it...
Go HERE and enter your email address.
Create your 20 page 8.5 x 11  hardcover book.
At checkout, enter coupon code FREECC and it will deduct the cost of the photobook (original price $39.95) and you will just pay shipping.

I've done lots of these and they are so fun to have.  Awesome for vacation pics all in one book.  Not to mention it's a hell of a lot easier than scrapbooking.  Would you all like to see my wedding scrapbook?  oh wait, I haven't gotten around to that yet... it's only been 3.5 years.

Enjoy!

Oh and GO CATS tonight!!

St. Paddy's day + Warmest day we've had in what feels like 8 years + 9:00 tip off game = Callie hurting very badly tomorrow morning.

Cheers!!!

Big Ass Binder

I've had a few people ask about this amazing coupon binder I have, so I'm finally putting up pictures of it.  It's okay, you can laugh.  This is what I stroll through the grocery stores with - no biggie :)
The binder is Studio C - I believe it's just a regular binder.  The coupon inserts are from Mrs. A's Coupon Organizer.
I have colored dividers separating pages so I can find each catagory easily.  Breakdown: condiments, snacks, cereal, dairy, frozen foods, pet coupons, cleaning products, medicine, etc.
Isn't it cute??  I'm obsessed.

It's Hip To Save!

As some of you know- I have recently become obsessed with this website called Hip2Save.  http://www.hip2save.com/.
It's a money saving blog run by a stay at home mom of 3.  She posts anything from printable coupons to current deals at restaurants and stores as well as free sample websites to score free stuff!!  I have quite the stash of sample size shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (just patiently waiting for my next trip).  I'm sure my mailman hates me.  I'll post a pic the next time I get a huge stash of free stuff in the mail.
Some of my favorite things I've gotten:
Full size Pantene Shampoo
Full size Redken straightening balm
Full size Olay antiaging face lotion
Coupon for Free Duraflame Logs
Coupon for 2 free Excedrin Migrane
Free year subscription to Shape, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping magazine
And much more!

Reading her tips on saving money and how to use coupons to the max really inspires me to do the same.  Since I've started using coupons, I save an average of $35 every time I go to the store.  That adds up!
I will admit... I was hesitate at first that I was going to feel like a homeless person at the checkout line, and I did, but I've gotten over that because of all the $$ I've saved.  Tony thought I was crazy at first and I don't think he'll ever go to the store with me and my coupons again, but he appreciates my effort.  He was really impressed when we received 2 packets of Rachel Ray dog food samples in one week that included coupons for 2 FREE  bags of dog food!! ($15-$18 value each).
I asked for a coupon organizer for Christmas and man did I get one!  It is the best thing ever!  I don't even care that I am that crazy coupon lady.  In fact, I've had multiple people compliment me in the store.  I was at HyVee yesterday cruising down the frozen food isle with my coupon book and this lady stopped me and wanted me to show her how I did it.  She was impressed and now I know that not everyone thinks I'm out of my mind.  However, I do feel bad for the people behind me in line... sometimes.  :)
